Laura Maletta

Laura M. Maletta has extensive experience in both First-Party and Third-Party Insurance claims, litigating a variety of claims, from losses involving cyber policies to fire.  Laura has successfully litigated cases from inception to trial.  She also has experience providing risk management services to her clients in the construction and education industries, protecting their particular insurance coverage needs through their written agreements with third-parties. Whether Laura is representing sophisticated developers or homeowners, she always ensures her client’s rights are protected and effectively prosecutes their claims so that they receive indemnification for the losses they sustained. Before joining Lerner, Arnold & Winston, Laura’s practice focused on insurance, construction, municipal and educational institution liability, and products liability.  She received her Bachelors of Arts degree from New York University and her Juris Doctorate degree from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, where she represented Cardozo in the prestigious Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot in both Hong Kong and Vienna.
